As the UI/UX designer for KyloApps, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering this comprehensive SaaS platform, aimed at reducing the time and effort involved in conducting interviews and assessing candidates.

InterviewPro is an AI recruitment and interview preparation software designed to streamline the hiring process for HR teams, corporate entities, schools, and colleges. As the UI/UX designer for KyloApps, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering this comprehensive SaaS platform, aimed at reducing the time and effort involved in conducting interviews and assessing candidates.

My role

As the UI/UX designer, my responsibilities encompassed research, analysis, design, testing, and validation of the platform. I collaborated with stakeholders, product managers, and developers from April to July 2023 to bring InterviewPro to fruition.

Research

Extensive user research was conducted, engaging with Viosa board members, stakeholders, product managers, and assistant vice presidents. Through virtual meetings, we gained insights into the roles and responsibilities of various user segments, including corporate entities, schools, students, HR teams, and Viosa administrators.

User Profile & Needs: Based on the research findings, I developed user profiles and identified their specific needs:

  • Corporate: Need to create, manage, and analyze interviews, access a pool of candidates, and schedule interviews.
  • Schools/Colleges: Require tools to teach interview skills, manage interviews, and track student progress.
  • Students: Need to practice interviews assigned by colleges, receive feedback, and access recommended courses.
  • Admin: Require comprehensive control over user management, gamification features, analytics, and interview creation.

Conceptualization: I created user flows, task flows, and information architecture, followed by low-fidelity wireframing sessions with stakeholders and developers. Information architecture was tailored for each user segment, ensuring intuitive navigation and ease of use.

Visual Language: The visual language of InterviewPro was meticulously crafted, including fonts, colors, images, logos, icons, and components. Adopting Material Design 3 principles, I designed over 100 pages, maintaining consistency and clarity throughout the platform.

Challenges:

The traditional recruiting process often involves sifting through hundreds of resumes and conducting numerous interviews, leading to a time-consuming and repetitive task for HR professionals. Recognizing this challenge, we aimed to create a solution that automates and simplifies the interview process for both recruiters and candidates.
