In collaboration with VIOSA, I spearheaded the design efforts for ResuMatic AI, a groundbreaking project aimed at revolutionizing the resume-building experience. ResuMatic AI offers users an innovative platform powered by artificial intelligence, streamlining the process of creating professional resumes and cover letters. With a focus on user-friendliness and efficiency, our goal was to provide job seekers with a comprehensive toolkit to enhance their job search efforts. Additionally, the introduction of AI Coins introduces a novel approach to sustain the platform’s development while offering users access to premium features beyond their initial usage quota.

Problem Statement

In today’s competitive job market, job seekers face numerous challenges, from crafting tailored resumes to navigating complex applicant tracking systems (ATS). Traditional methods often prove inefficient and time-consuming, leading to frustration and missed opportunities.

Role as UI/UX Designer:

As the sole UI/UX designer for ResuMatic AI, I orchestrated the entire design journey through a series of meticulous steps:

Research & Analysis: Conducted comprehensive user research to understand user needs, pain points, and industry best practices. Analyzed competitor platforms to identify opportunities for innovation.
Conceptualization & Ideation: Brainstormed creative concepts and design ideas, translating user insights into tangible design solutions. Developed user personas and user journey maps to guide the design process.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Created wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize the layout and structure of the platform. Iteratively refined these prototypes based on user feedback and usability testing.
Visual Design: Applied visual design principles to create a visually appealing interface. Defined color schemes, typography, iconography, and imagery to establish a cohesive visual identity aligned with the brand.
Interaction Design: Designed interactive elements such as buttons, forms, and navigation menus to ensure intuitive user interactions. Incorporated animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement.
Usability Testing: Conducted usability testing sessions with real users to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of the design. Gathered feedback and iteratively refined the design based on user insights.
